New Delhi, Aug. 9: In perhaps an effort to apply some balm to simmering sentiments in the Kashmir Valley, and perhaps even look for a way out, the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, will be meeting an all-party delegation from the troubled state here on Tuesday evening.
Leading the delegation will be the J&K CM, Mr Omar Abdullah, who was in the national capital last week too to meet the PM. The Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP has decided to keep away from this meeting, just as it had last month when a similar meeting had been called in Srinagar by the CM.
During Tuesday’s meeting, the PM is expected to elicit from the leaders of the various parties views on how to restore peace to the Valley.
