Hyderabad, Aug. 10: Vinay Goud, V. Dashrathkanth and DRC Kiron were the star performers of the A division two-day cricket league matches played here on Tuesday.
While Vinay and Dashrathkanth took six wickets each, Kiron slammed a century to hog the limelight.
OU’s Vinay Goud was the better of the top two bowlers, conceding just 19 runs as he snared six Telangana batsmen to script a 178-run win. Ashish and Harish made 84 and 83 respectively as OU made 321 for 8. Telangana was bowled out for 143.
In another match, Dashrathkanth took 6 for 74 to script Gujarathi’s narrow win over Crown. Chasing the former’s modest 173, Crown fell two runs short.
In another match, Kiron hit a century to help Balaji Colts to a strong 314 for 8 in their match against Zinda. Kiron was well-supported by Vikas (59) while Avinash contributed 34.
