Tension prevailed at the international airport here on Wednesday after officials noticed smoke emanating from a pushback truck which towed a London-bound flight carrying 152 passengers to a runway.
Airport officials said they noticed smoke from near the aircraft just before it was about to take off. Fire service vehicles were pressed into service and the flight left after a delay of half an hour, they said.
