This November the US President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama are scheduled to visit India.
The first lady of US is famous for her amazing sense of style and tops the list of best dressed women in the world. She no doubt goes with an entourage of stylists and dressers to get the “perfect” look, but more than that she is always willing to try out various styles. During her visit to India, she is also expected to get her hair styled by Sumit Israni, who owns Geetanjali, a chain of salons in the capital.
Sumit confirmed that he is definitely looking forward to styling Obama’s hair and giving her a sleek look. Talking about her style and what will suit her best, Sumit says, “Michelle Obama has an oval face structure, so many hairstyles would look good. But the textured bob will suit her personality very well and will be ideal for formal as well as glamorous events. I feel it will complement her personality as she is a power dresser. She has almost shoulder length hair, so side fringes or one-side sweep will also make her look smart.”
The hairstylist is also known as “scissors-hands” and has styled Hillary Clinton’s hair, when she visited India last year. He recalls, “She was very gracious and made no-fuss about her hair. I was surprised to meet her for the first time and was floored by the fact that she was ready with her dress and make-up at 6 am in the morning.”
