A boy was washed away in flash floods in a river in Rajouri district on Friday morning. A woman and her 11-year-old son Sanjay Kumar were crossing a river in Sunderbandi belt of Rajouri district when flash floods washed away the child, police said. Several locals rushed to the site after hearing the woman screaming for help, they said, adding his body was later fished out three kms away from the spot.
