Oil regulator Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has moved the Supreme Court, requesting an early hearing in a case related to its jurisdiction to issue licences for retailing CNG and piped gas. The application would come up on Tuesday. The Delhi High Court in January, had ruled that PNGRB had no powers to issue city gas licences.
