It's a Tuesday when most office workers daydream about their next holiday, a study has found. According to the study, online holiday searches peak at 9 pm on Tuesday as workers struggle with the start of the working week — in fact, many can't wait until they get home and 1 pm to 4 pm at work is also a busy browsing time. The British research by booking website 'Hotels.com' suggests that most people opt for escapism on Tuesday as they perceive that it's the gloomiest day of the week, the 'Daily Express' reported. Alison Couper, of Hotels.com, which carried out the study, was quoted as saying, "On Tuesdays we haven’t quite reached the middle of the working week so our need to escape reality is heightened. "Browsing holidays is one way to transport ourselves from normality to stunning locations around the world and, even if only window-shopping, checking out locations helps the next time you get away."
