Indian Premier League governing council will have an emergency meeting in Mumbai on Sunday to discuss issues relating to three franchisers, according to cricket board sources.
The three franchise teams — Rajasthan Royals, Kings Eleven Punjab and newly bought Kochi — were given show cause notices by the BCCI on September 29 as they had not complied with the rules governing the franchisers.
The governing council is expected to take a final decision on these three franchisers at the meeting.
