It is difficult to find time to exercise these days considering the fast-paced life. Unable to exercise, we moan over the weight we pile on. Experts believe that simple practices and exercises at work can help you keep yourself energised.
Suggesting few simple ways, Ishi Khosla, a health expert, says, “Take the stairs and walk to the closest mall for lunch. Use the restroom on the next floor. Dumbbells and ankle weights can be used when you’re on the phone or typing away at the computer.”
Apart from that you can sit on a Swiss ball while working and you can walk up to your colleague to deliver reporters rather than handing them over to the office boy. “You can also leave your lunch bag in your car and walk down to take it and there is nothing like listening to music and walking around for a few minutes,” she adds.
What may come as a surprise, Ishi Khosla reveals, is the fact that normal activities at work also help burn calories. Given is a table of the number of calories that are burnt per hour vis-à-vis the weight.
