Bangalore: For the second time in four days, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa will be seeking a vote of confidence tomorrow to prove his majority in the House after a controversial trust vote triggered a political storm prompting the Governor to seek clamping of President's Rule.
"I am going to seek a vote of confidence tomorrow. I am confident of winning", said 68-year-old Yeddyurappa, who would be creating history for having sought a trust vote for second time within a short space.
Opposition Congress and JD(S) have decried Governor H R Bhardwaj's offer to Yeddyurappa to seek a fresh vote, terming it as 'illegal and unconstitutional' and demanded its withdrawal.
Yeddyurappa decided to accept the fresh floor test offer and expects it would be a 'smooth task' following the High Court refusing interim relief to 16 disqualified MLAs.
