Hyderabad, Oct. 25: Dr Reddy’s Laboratories (DRL) has tied up with Cipla for selling some of the latter’s drugs in Russian and Ukraine markets.
DRL has already initiated the sales and promotion of the products from Q2 FY11 in select therapy areas in Russia. The Ukraine launch would take place in 2011.
Commenting on the development, Mr Satish Reddy, managing director, said, “The agreements would immediately add to our revenues from the Russian and CIS market.”
According to Mr M.V. Ramana, head of Russia and CIS region, DRL, the tie-up with Cipla will enhance DRL’s presence in gastroenterology, dermatology and oncology in both Russia and Ukraine.”
