The Gujarat high court on Friday granted bail to former minister of state for home Amit Shah, who was arrested in the Sohrabbudin Sheikh staged shootout case in 2005.
Justice R.H. Sukhla granted the bail. Amit Shah is the legislator from Sarkhej constituency in Ahmedabad. He was arrested on July 25, 2010 and since then was lodged in the Sabarmati jail here.
