Lahore, Dec. 22: The lawyer of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian national on death row in a Pakistani jail, has said he will file a fresh petition in the Supreme Court to reopen his client’s case following the arrest of Manjeet Singh by Indian authorities for the bomb blasts blamed on Sarabjit.
Sarabjit’s lawyer, Mr Awais Sheikh, told reporters here that Manjeet’s arrest in India and his “expected confession” on carrying out blasts in Pakistan has rekindled hopes for his release.
