The post mortem examination of the Amici Café manager, who lost his life in a road rage accident at the upscale Khan Market last week, has revealed that the victim died of cardiac arrest.
The police sources said the examination report has also revealed that the upper part of the victim’s body was not crushed under Ford Ikon car of the accused, Vikas Aggarwal, as was earlier believed, clearly ruling out the demands of the victim’s family that more stringent charges be levelled against the accused, who has been booked for rash and negligent driving.
Rajeev Jolly Wilson, 37, the manager of Amici Café, had lost his life after Aggarwal allegedly ran his car over Wilson following a heated argument. The fresh post-mortem examination was conducted by a penal of three doctors on Thursday, headed by Dr Chitranjan Behra of the Maulana Azad Medical College.
ACP (New Delhi), K.C. Dwivedi, was not available despite repeated attempts.
The sources, however, said the report suggests that Wilson had suffered cardiac attack after falling on road and had also suffered injuries on his head.
