For all those who were confused about the petite Dia Mirza’s relationship status, she has come ahead and refuted all the rumours surrounding her personal life. “I am single and that is how I choose to be,” she says as a matter of fact.

Having said that, Dia says that she is not commitment phobic. And as far as men are concerned, she has seen all kinds of them in this world. “Just as there are all kinds of people in this world, there are all kinds of men too. I have encountered forward-thinking men, who have helped the women in their life spread their wings. But while some men may portray a less chauvinistic side, that does not mean they are not chauvinistic. They are comfortable only until their pride raises its ugly head. That is their greatest weapon — to flatter the woman and charm her. I also think many men have realised this is one form of artillery that will win them every war. I think it varies from man to man,” she says.
Dia is attracted to men who have brains and intelligent communication skills. “I would like to believe that more than looks, it’s the personality that draws attention,” she adds.
