‘It’s every man’s fantasy to fly an aeroplane’

Every child dreams of being behind the wheels some day, but what if it happens to be that of an aeroplane. Well, Sonu Sood had a similar dream, and he did get a chance to fulfil it during a flying trip from Lucknow to Mumbai. The actor was just like a child as he held the wheels of the plane in his hands for the first time.
Sonu was on his way back on a chartered flight from Lucknow. The actor’s curiosity took him to the cockpit where he got into a conversation with the pilot. He told him about his childhood dream of flying an aeroplane and how he always wanted to take flying lessons. Sonu also told the pilot that he had enquired about a flying school while he was studying engineering.
Looking at the actor’s interest, the pilot immediately offered him to try his hand at flying the aircraft they were in. Sonu’s joy knew no bounds. Thrilled as he was, the actor jumped at the opportunity, but of course as a co-pilot, and under the pilot’s instructions, manoeuvred the plane smoothly for half an hour.
“I think it’s every man’s fantasy to fly an aeroplane. It certainly was mine,” Sonu says.
