Their film career may have taken a nosedive, but that hasn’t stopped the Bachchan couple from gracing red carpet functions around the world. After Cannes, it was at the Oscars that they rubbed shoulders with the A-listers of Hollywood.
If sources are to be believed, Abhishek and Aishwarya were seated right next to renowned international jazz vocalist Helen Merrill, while Oscar winner Sandra Bullock was right behind them.
After the awards function, Abhishek headed to the Oscar Vanity Fair party that hosted the who’s who of world cinema. Said a beaming Abhishek, “I had an awesome time at the Oscars and the Vanity Fair party. I really needed a short break before I get back to Mumbai for the hectic promotional schedule for Game and Dum Maro Dum.”
Yes Abhishek, it’s time to get back to reality.
The actor who didn’t see a major box office hit in a very long time now, is desperate to achieve success with his upcoming releases. 2011 will be an action-packed year for the actor. Besides Game and DMD he also has Abbas Mastan’s Players and Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan.
