The DMK on Saturday withdrew support to the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government after failing to reach a seat-sharing pact with the Congress for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. DMK leader T.R. Baalu said DMK ministers had been asked to go to New Delhi and submit their resignations to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
