The 89 fishermen freed by Pakistan authorities last week will ariive here on Tuesday.
After a night halt at the railway station here, they will leave for Veraval town on Wednesday morning, said Viranchi Trivedi, a member of a team of Fisheries Department of Gujarat Government, who is involved in the process to bring back fishermen here.
These fishermen are from Gujarat, Union Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli and Bihar.
Over the phone this evening from Amritsar, Shukla said "the Railway authorities have agreed to attach an extra bogie with the Mumbai-bound Golden Express for ferry the fishermen."
Pakistan officials had handed over these fishermen to the Indian authorities at Attari border on April 15. Since then they were in custody of the Indian Red Cross Society till the Gujarat team took their custody last evening.
