Three of Osama bin Laden’s captured wives have claimed that al-Qaeda leader’s youngest son, who has been dubbed as the 'Crown Prince of Terror', has gone missing in Pakistan since the night the US Special Forces stormed into bin Laden’s compound and killed him.
Three of Bin Laden''s wives and several of his children were taken into custody by Pakistani intelligence forces after the raid, but 19-year-old Hamza managed to escape, the Daily Mail reports.
Although the White House initially said that Hamza was presumed dead like one of his brothers during the raid, his mother Khairiah Sabar, who is among the three widows being held by Pakistan intelligence, believes he escaped.
He was spotted in at least two of Bin Laden's propaganda videos. During his brother’s marriage in 2001, he was spotted wearing a combat dress in one of the videos and reading out a poem dedicated to his father’s exploits.
"I'm warning America that its people will face terrible results if they chase my father. Fighting Americans is the basis for faith," one passage read.
He also appeared on an extremist website to mark the third anniversary of the July 7, 2005, London bombings, in which 52 people died. He read a poem in which he called for the destruction of America, Britain, France and Denmark.
"Oh God, reward the fighters. God, be pleased with those who want to go for jihad. Grant victory to the Taliban over the gangs of infidels," he was spotted saying.
Hamza has also been implicated in the murder of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and terror chiefs fear he was being groomed as an al-Qaeda boss.
