Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara has a sequence set in Spain during the famous tomato throwing festival, and anyone who has witnessed the sheer fury that the mob can get into will know that escaping the squishy missiles is nearly impossible. Women especially, can be at the receiving end of quite a few tomatoes.
But Katrina Kaif wasn’t exactly scared when shooting that particular scene for ZMND. One would think that as the film’s three male leads: Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Hrithik Roshan, are known for their tomfoolery, they would take pleasure in ganging up against Kat and douse her with tomato pulp.
But Kat smiles and says that wasn’t the case. “Actually, the guys’ attention was totally focused on Kalki (Koechlin). She is so petite, that they thought her an easy target and took full use of the opportunity to send quite a few tomatoes her way. As for me, they knew that if anything came my way, they would more than get it back!”
