Police and security personnel on the spot after a low-intensity explosion near a car outside the Delhi high court in New Delhi on Wednesday. The explosive, kept in a packet near a car belonging to a lawyer, went off at 1.15 pm, causing panic, but no one was injured, the police said. The explosion, which broke an eight-month-lull after a similar explosion near the Jama Masjid ahead of the Commonwealth Games, prompted the police to sound an alert and strengthen security.
