Of late, the pretty Kajal Aggarwal has been feeling like she’s under siege. The actress, a well-known face in the Tamil and Telugu film industry, has had to face quite a backlash after reports emerged that she had asked not be called a “South star” because she is a North Indian by origin. Now, Kajal — who is starring opposite Ajay Devgn in
Singham — says she never made those remarks. “I don’t know why all this is being said about me,” Kajal says. “The film industry down South has always had a very special place in my life. I haven’t been in the country for over a month now and wasn’t available to even talk to the media.”
She adds, “My audience can see my loyalties through my work.”
