One Sudarsan Kalo (25) allegedly hacked his wife, Surya (20) to death at Matikhani village in Sundargarh district, about 70 kms from here, police said today.
Sudarshan in a fit of rage axed his wife to death over a family quarrel at his house yesterday, they said.
The accused was arrested and the axe used in the crime was seized. He was produced before a Bonai based court today which remanded him to jail custody.
