Russia helicopter crash kills three

A helicopter with five people on board crashed in Russia on Monday, killing three and injuring the other two, a media report said.

An engine failure occurred when the Mi-8 helicopter was about to land in Chukotka region, Xinhua reported citing Itar-Tass news agency.

The aircraft crashed into the ground and caught fire.

Earlier this month, another Mi-8 helicopter crashed while ferrying oil workers to a drilling site in Siberia, killing two and injuring 14.
