Sallu holds on to his lucky charm

Now everybody knows that Salman Khan is sporting a “suaver than thou” image in Bodyguard. In fact, in his sharp suits and cool shades, Sallu could give even Hollywood’s best a run for their money. But in all his newfound style, there is one thing that the actor was missing: His lucky bracelet.
In the first few posters of Bodyguard, Salman was seen without his now iconic bracelet. But in the film’s latest look, the bracelet is back, present and correct. “Yes, bhai will sport the bracelet yet again,” says a stylist connected to the film. “It would have been sacrilege to ask him to part with it. And yes, glimpses of the bracelet can be seen in the film’s new posters. But how much of it will be seen in the film’s footage is another matter, as bhai has a very different persona in the film, and the bracelet may not match the style of his character.”
Of course it remains to be seen if the presence or absence of the bracelet will actually make a difference to Salman’s fortunes. It was during the shooting of Wanted that the actor first began sporting the bracelet, and the film went on to become a hit.
“In Dabangg, bhai would take the bracelet off between shots,” our source adds. “But he freely sported it in Ready.” So will Sallu’s lucky charm have a full-fledged role or a special appearance in Bodyguard?
