Ranbir Kapoor may not yet be in the league of the big Khans of the film industry, but he’s learning the ropes of super-stardom quite quickly. Gung-ho about his upcoming Rockstar, Ranbir is confident that the film will change his fortunes. After Priyanka Chopra, who couldn’t stop gushing about the film last week, it’s now Ayan Mukherjee’s turn.
The Wake Up Sid director, singing praises in Ranbir’s honour, thinks he’ll be the next big thing in Bollywood. “After watching the teaser of Rockstar, Ayan drove straight to Ranbir’s house. Compliments always make you feel good, but when someone goes out of their way to appreciate your work, it makes your day,” says Ranbir’s official spokesperson.
Undoubtedly, it did make Ranbir’s day. But the final verdict is that of the audience on the release day. Right now, more and more celebrities are joining the clamour. Will this camp-in-the-making give any tough competition to the existing ones though, only time will tell.
