Former England captain Nasser Hussain is in trouble after he reportedly called India fielders, 'donkeys', during commentary for the recently held Twenty20 match between India and England.
The BCCI has also promised to look into the incident.
"Every player has to be respected and such comments should not be made. I do not think this comment was appropriate. Commentators should not make such comments. We will definitely look into it, Rajiv Shukla was quoted as saying.
Reports claim Hussain's comment happened during the fourth over when he was trying to express his views on the Team India's agility on the field.
Hussain is reported to have said, "I do believe that India have few...3 or 4 very good fielders and one or two donkeys in the field still."
India's ongoing tour of England has been having its share of controversies.
During the tests, Hussain was part of another row in which he had claimed that V.V.S Laxman applies vaseline to cheat the 'Hot Spot' technology - a comment that had many experts lashing out at the former skipper.
