Castle Town impresses

Feb. 17: Proof and Castle Town excelled when the following horses were exercised here on Thursday.

Sand
600m: Bribe Madi (Nitin) 41, improved. Sporting Star (Dileep) 41.5, pushed. Chesapeake (RB) La Lapitus 40, former impressed, note. Staccato (Shoban) Disco Flash (Vikas) 40, both moved together.
800m: Gabriel (Kiran Naidu) Audacious (E. Creighton) 58.5, 600 in 44, they were handy. Sterling Cruise (E. Creighton) Chal Bhai Chal (Kiran Naidu) 58, 600 in 43, they were fully eased up at 400, latter should repeat. Anacostia (Chary) Menlo Park (Kuldeep) 1-0, 600 in 42, both moved together. Sun Strike (Kuldeep) Grande Comore (Chary) 1-0.5, 600 in 42, former was far superior while latter started 4 lengths behind & fully ridden out to finish 2 lengths behind. Arcturus (Ali Khan) Rio Grande (RB) 57, 600 in 40, they are in fine trim. Dream Deal (Shoban) 56.5, 600 in 40, moved with plenty on saddle. Copertina (P. Venkat) 58.5, 600 in 43, handy. Castle Town (Joshi) 55.5, 600 in 40, maintains form. Proof (Anil) 54, 600 in 39, an excellent display.
