Don Diego and Ticket To Ride excelled when the following horses were exercised on the trial track here on Monday.
The Sunday night’s heavy downpour, which dampened the race track, had rendered the going sloppy.
Outer sand:
Outer sand, 600m: Sky Diver (rb), Caprioska (rb) 48.5, moved leisurely.
1000m: Yamas (rb), Gloriosa (rb) 1-16.5 (1600/600), eased. Ticket To Ride (Md. Shafiq) 1-7, 600/50, an excellent display. Yas Marina (Md. Shafiq) 1-9.5, 600/41, impressed.
1200m: Andromache (I. Chisty), Table Mountain (S. Zervan) 1-28, 1000/1-11.5, 600/43, former shaped better. Don Diego (B. Mahesh), Mother’s Pride (Md. Shafiq) 1-27.5, 1000/1-10, 600/ 42.5, neck and neck, former looks like an early winner.
1400m: Fleet Indian (rb), Fist Of Rage (Ch.K. Chary) 1-39, 1200/1-23.5, 1000/1-9.5, 600/43. Fleet Indian started four to five lengths behind, finished almost level. Edmondo (Gaurav Sapra) 1-40.5, 1200/1-25.5, 1000/1-11.5, 600/43, a good display. One Life To Love (B. Mahesh) 1-44.5, 1200/1-25.5, 1000/1-11, 600/41, a fine display.
Inner sand, 600m: Moonlight Romance (I. Chisty) 39, handy.
