May 11: King’s Envoy is expected to win the Shoranur Plate, the main event of the races to be held here on Wednesday.

The selections:
1. The Colourful Flowers Plate (Division-I) (Class VB) 1200 metres, 10.20 am: 1 Diesel, 2 Beau Gallant, 3 Notable Guest.
2. The Shoranur Plate (Class I) 1200 metres, 10.40 am: 1 King’s Envoy, 2 Magical Warrior, 3 First Emperor.
3. The Thrissur Plate (Division-I) (for maiden horses 3-year-old only) 1300 metres, 11 am: 1 As-pects Of Love, 2 Colour Me Pretty, 3 Kings Ransom.
4. The Tirupur Plate (Class III) 1300 metres, 11.25 am: 1 Forest Knight, 2 Mill Fontaine, 3 Royal Heir.
5. The Thrissur Plate (Division-II) (for maiden horses 3-year-old only) 1300 metres, 11.50 am: 1 Rainbow Lady, 2 Bare Nec-essities, 3 Be My Valentine.
6. The Planetorium Cup (Class II) 1200 metres, 12.15 pm: 1 Cosmic Explorer, 2 Bureaucrat, 3 Lord Admiral.
7. The Kottayam Plate (Class IV) 1200 metres, 12.40 pm: 1 Rupali, 2 Mejestical, 3 Assert The Right.
8. The Udipi Plate (Class VA) 1400 metres, 1.05 pm: 1 Command, 2 Star Summit, 3 Step In Style.
