Sailesh finishes 9th at Brands Hatch
Indian driver Sailesh Bolisetti recorded his first Top-ten finish of the season in Round Three of the Euro Racecar championship held at the iconic Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, England, on Saturday.
Sailesh, who is familiar with the 1.9-kilometre layout after his stint at the British GT last year, was able to get up to pace straightaway.
“This is the first time this season that we’re on a track that I’ve driven before, and it makes a huge difference to the weekend as you’re not wasting time figuring out the lines and the layout,” said Sailesh.
“Instead, we were able to jump in and work on the setup to improve the car which is important,” the Vizag lad added.
Throughout the practice session, the 24-year old posted Top-five times, fuelling hopes of a memorable qualifier.
But a late set-up change in the car disrupted Sailesh’s rhythm, according to the driver.
“It was a last minute change which I was made aware of only after I had gone out and finished the qualifier. It caught me by surprise as the front end was stiffer and the rear was softer than what we were running in practice. So the car was completely different,” he said.
Eventually, Sailesh ended up qualifying 13.
Going into race one, he ensured that the team reverted to the set-up from practice to help him come through the pack.
The change helped Sailesh as he finished the race ninth. “It was a tough race, again we had issues we could have avoided. But, so far, this has been the strongest weekend of the season and knowing the track definitely helped,” said Sailesh.

Miami look to square finals with victory
Miami, June 9: The NBA Finals. Just being here can be memorable — and miserable.
And surprise, it’s those supposedly stoic San Antonio Spurs who are having more fun, while the Miami Heat are a little grumpy and grouchy.
The Heat may be on top of the basketball world, but there’s no joy unless they stay there. “Play-offs ain’t fun, man. I’m sorry to bust anyone on the outside’s bubble,” Dwyane Wade said. “As a player in the play-offs, you have no joy until it’s over and you won. If you don’t win, you have no joy for a while.”
Down 0-1 after a record regular season that goes for naught without another title, the Heat can turn their moods around with a victory over San Antonio on Sunday in Game 2.
Back in the finals for a third straight year, the Heat have lost some of the ability to enjoy the ride. With exorbitant expectations, all that matters is the destination.
But San Antonio, absent from this stage for six years, is soaking up what could be its last shot for Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.“We definitely are having fun,” Parker said.
