Tata strengthens support for Narain Karthikeyan
As the countdown has begun for the second edition of the Indian Grand Prix , the corporate houses in the country are busy finalising their marketing deals with Formula One teams.
Close on the heels of health drink Boost’s partnership with McLaren Mercedes, Indian ace Narain Karthikeyan got a much-needed support from Tata Global Beverages.
As part of the sponsorship deal, Narain will sport Tata Tea’s branding on his helmet and Hispania car during this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix and Indian GP which will be held on October 28.
TGB believes its association with Narain and consequently, Formula 1, will give it a platform to connect with a large global viewership worldwide, which is second only to the football World Cup.
Narain said the Tata Group has been supporting him since he began his racing career. “It is great to be associated with yet another world-class Tata brand.
This support will go a long way to help us develop the car and achieve the best possible results during this part of the season.
Both Singapore and Indian Grands Prix are unique events on the calendar and I am really looking forward to them,” he said.
