Time Is Precious races to upset win

C.D. Monappa-trained Time Is Precious, ably ridden by B. Mahesh, bagged the F.B. Sharma Memorial Gold Cup, the feature event of the races held here on Wednesday.
Time Is Precious bolted to the front from a forward position entering home stretch and held gamely to win comfortably from hard pressed Mr. Sunrise.

Trainer Monappa scored a treble and jockey G.Y. Rajesh Baby had a brace of winners.
