New buyer: Ganguly moving into Kochi IPL franchise?

New Delhi: Looks like former captain Sourav Ganguly has not been ignored after all.

A news channel has revealed that Kochi has approached IPL Governing Council asking for Ganguly - who has had no buyer in this season of the league.

However, Kochi can land the prince only if the other nine franchises green-light this out-of-auction deal.

Kochi will be making their IPL debut in the tournament which begins on April 8.
