Zak heads to SA for treatment
Pune, July 10: Zaheer Khan will fly to South Africa for treatment on his shoulder. The left-arm pacer has made his own arrangements to travel to South Africa and is expected to seek the BCCI’s permission soon.
Zaheer was part of the Asia Cup winning squad in Dambulla last month, but has been ruled out of the Test series against Sri Lanka.
Zaheer didn’t reveal much about his shoulder problem but said in his Twitter feed: “Shoulder is troubling me a little need to sort it out... hope to be back soon. Leaving for Jo’burg today, visiting Rosebank sports injury rehab clinic, the place where I did my shoulder rehab last year after surgery,” Zaheer tweeted.
