Hesh-Paes split official

It's official. Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati have split and they will not be playing the 2012 season together.

"Mahesh and Bopanna will be pairing up for the Chennai Open, which is the season opener for 2012. Unfortunately, Leander and Mahesh have decided to part ways," said Tamil Nadu Tennis Association member M.A Alagappan, who's also a key official with the Chennai Open.

Leander, who is likely to partner with Radek Stepanek, is doubtful for the Chennai even as he has not given in his entry yet.
