SAI invites tennis aspirants
The RK Khanna Stadium in the capital will be thrown open for tennis players under the come and play (CAP) scheme from next month.
The Sports Authority of India has invited applications from aspirants between the age groups of five to 14 years (beginners) and 14 to 21 years (potential players) for coaching/training in the stadium.
The players will be selected through various competitions to be held at the stadium on July 7 and 8.
The last date of entry is July 3 and draw of lots will take place on July 6.
For details with respect to age groups, number of players to be selected and entry fee among others, one can visit the Sports Authority of India and All India Tennis Association websites.
The application forms are also available on these websites and from the office of assistant director, Stadia division, SAI head office, East Gate JN Stadium, New Delhi and at Gate no.1, RK Khanna Stadium, Africa Avenue, New Delhi.
