Sharma stars in PMG win

Rajesh Sharma’s unbeaten 151 coupled with Shivank Vashisht’s haul of four wickets helped PMG beat City Club by 163 runs in the Swastik Cup Open cricket tournament at the Ghevra grounds here on Thursday.

Batting first, PMG scored 269/8 in 40 overs on the back of Sharma’s knock. Abhinav Kumar (3/34) and Annu Jolly (2/20) were the bowlers to impress for City Club.
In reply, City Club folded up for 106 in 33.4 overs as Vashisht and Ishpreet Singh Narula (2/10) ripped through their batting.
Scores: PMG 269/8 in 40 overs (Rajesh Sharma 151 not out, Vishal Adhlakha 40, Abhinav Kumar 3/34, Annu Jolly 2/20) bt City Club 106 in 33.4 overs (Kunal Gaba 41, Shivank Vashisht 4/17, Ishpreet Singh Narula 2/10).
