With almost 200 films, the BFI London Film Festival is the UK’s biggest and best film event. From the latest Hollywood productions to avant-garde shorts, the festival has it all and more from October 12-27, 2011.

The event has a number of strands, with the biggest premières screened at sponsored galas and attended by the glitterati of the film world. British, French, European and world cinema all get their own extensive screening programmes, and there are special sections for experimental films, shorts, animations and treasures from the archives.
