Hiten bags a new film role

Hiten Tejwani, currently seen in Pavitra Rishta, has bagged another film. Called Tere Aane Se, the movie also stars Purab Kohli and Rituparna Sengupta. Hiten had recently been roped in for a cameo in the film It’s Entertainment as well.
“When the script was narrated to me, I fell in love with it, it really impacted me and I immediately said yes to doing the film,” Hiten shared when we quizzed him about his latest project.
Directed by Agnidev Chatterjee, Hiten’s role in Tere Aane Se is that of a college student. “Our shooting schedule began in Shimla followed by a schedule in Delhi, Manali and then Nasik,” the actor added.
The actor admitted that he was finding it tough to balance his two shows, Pavitra Rishta and Savdhan India. “It is tough, but now it is manageable to an extent as my daily soap Pavitra Rishta is now taking a leap. This allowed me to sign the film as with the new characters coming in for the leap, the shooting schedule for me has lightened up a bit,” he said.
In It’s Entertainment, Hiten’s cameo is that of a TV superstar.

A spokesperson for Colors, the channel on which the show airs, said, “It is unfortunate that such an incident has occurred on the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil. There have been no casualties and we are currently in the process of accessing the extent of the damage. Meanwhile, we are focusing all our efforts on resuming shooting for the show so that we have no disruption and we don’t disappoint our loyal viewers.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
