Sachin presented with silver World Cup trophy replica

A city-based jewellery firm on Tuesday presented a gold-plated silver World Cup trophy replica to batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar.

The replica is made of 4.5 kgs of silver with 60 gm of gold plating.

The efforts by the jewellery firm to present the trophy and felicitate Sachin before a posse of media persons failed to fructify as the batting maestro did not wish to have media glare for the event.

Sachin is in Bengaluru to play an IPL match for his Mumbai Indians team against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
