Farah-SRK film to start post IPL

It seems like Farah Khan’s equation with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and her dwindling career as a director are back on track. The director has finally confirmed signing SRK for her next film, and says that they would begin the official talks post-IPL.
“Let me set the record straight. Yes, SRK is doing my film. The film is at the script level. He is extremely busy with the ongoing IPL and hence we haven’t had an official meeting,” said the director, who has been in the news for a long time: First for her alleged fall out with mentor and good friend Shah Rukh and then the subsequent disastrous fate of Tees Mar Khan with Akshay Kumar. But the final blow was the physical fight between her husband Sirish Kunder and SRK.
Farah also denied reports about signing Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif for her film. “I haven’t signed Deepika or any other actress as of yet. I’m clueless where all this comes from. But I know who I want to sign for the film. Once Shah Rukh is done with IPL we’ll chalk out the other details. My film will go on the floors in December. Hopefully he’ll be done with his other assignments,” she smiles. This is the first time that Farah has confidently revealed details about her equation with the star and officially confirmed that she has taken him on board.
Well, let’s hope SRK is equally confident about the film.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
