Crisis-hit MCI is dissolved

The Medical Council of India, the national medical education regulator, was on Saturday dissolved in the wake of a recent corruption allegations. The MCI general council has been replaced by a six-member panel of eminent doctors, led by gastroenterologist S.K. Sarin.

Misra new Delhi HC Chief Justice

Justice Dipak Misra was on Friday appointed as the new Chief Justice of Delhi high court. An official statement said that Justice Misra has been directed to assume his new responsibility on or before May 28.
