After a hectic Saturday, it was a quiet Sunday at the Goa Crime Branch with former tourism minister Francisco (Mickky) Pacheco still untraced. Mr Pacheco disappeared after faxing his resignation to chief minister Digambar Kamat on Saturday morning though he was supposed to be present at the Crime Branch for questioning over his alleged involvement in the mysterious suicide of his girlfriend Nadia Torrado.

Rain lashes Pakistan as cyclone hits
The cyclone on Sunday entered Pakistan’s sea as rain continued to play havoc with the life and property. “So far, we have no reports of any death but several people have been hurt. The rain is expected to continue for the next 36 hours or so,” director general meteorological department Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said.
