Pristine & peaceful: Fluidity in design
Spirituality really inspires me. The calmness and peace emanating from religious spaces and the Bible are etched in my drawings and can be seen in my first collection, which is pristine and untouched. I love draping the body to accentuate its curves and I usually want to see myself in the same image and this is what makes me surpass the ordinary. The fluidity of fabrics, the draping and fall of various textures excite me immensely.
‘My Sanskrit teacher felt I won’t pass’
I did my graduation in psychology from Nizam College in Hyderabad. It was a three year course and those years were the best days of my life. I would often bunk classes and hang out with friends. I remember I used to be very particular about my dresses, so I was considered the most stylish in my group.
