In a sharp display of business acumen, senior students who have preserved their books and notes from the previous year, are selling these to their juniors, who are more than willing to pay a good price for them.

Students look forward to college and freedom

The class XII results are out and students are gearing up to begin college life. To many, with college comes freedom, and this freedom also represents being able to do things that were previously banned. Chennai’s college going crowd is now looking up different ways to mark a ‘rite of passage’, like colouring their hair, a piercing or even a tattoo.
