Right Ho! Faulks to revive Jeeves, Wooster

Jeeves will return to save the day.
Sebastian Faulks, the author of numerous novels, including one featuring Ian Fleming’s superspy James Bond, is to revive one of the most popular pairs of characters in humorous fiction ever since P.G. Wodehouse, their creator, died leaving an unfinished novel in 1975.

Enough. It’s time to change. Start now.

The anger coursing through India’s veins is no longer only about the terrible death of a brave young woman in a Singapore hospital, it is also about all the other victims.

Last night was better than the Saturday of June 25, 1983 at Lord’s. The eleven men who prevailed over Sri Lanka in the 2011 World Cup final at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium will be remembered long after the heroic stands are forgotten and newer champions are born for they have sipped of immortality. The grail of cricket is theirs. So it was for the heroes of 1983, too.
