Despite many ministers, MPs and leaders opposed to it, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar ruled Friday that the House will sit on Saturday. But the Food Security Bill will be taken up for discussion and passage only on Monday.

Victim is stable

The medical condition of the 22-year-old gangrape victim, who is being treated at the Jaslok Hospital on Peddar Road in south Bombay, is said to be “stable”.
