A fast track court on Monday sentenced nine persons to five years imprisonment for their involvement in violence during the Kandhamal riots two years ago.
Fast track court judge S.K. Das while convicting the nine persons also imposed fine of `5,000 each for their role in rioting and house burning incidents at Domangapadar under Phiringia police station on September 1, 2008.
